SP Gempen

The SP Gempen is a local branch of the Social Democratic Party and stands for the motto "For everyone, not just a few." The organization is committed to sustainable development and harmonious coexistence for all residents of the municipality of Gempen. Its orientation is based on social values ​​and the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Members are dedicated to a sustainable and just world that respects all people. Specifically, the SP Gempen addresses issues such as health and education, advocating for affordable services like parent and child health clinics, home care services, and the preservation of educational opportunities. Another key concern is the promotion of sustainable measures for energy, nature, and the landscape, including the protection of ecosystems and the promotion of renewable energies. Furthermore, the organization champions progressive infrastructure, particularly a sustainable water supply. Public services are also promoted, which is reflected in respectful interactions and a commitment to a well-developed public transportation system. The SP Gempen is also committed to an open and tolerant community. Those interested can participate as supporters or members. Membership offers the opportunity to get involved regionally, cantonally, and nationally in various party bodies and to receive information. Membership in the SP Gempen automatically includes membership in the SP Switzerland.
