The Bernese Long Distance March is an event for all hiking enthusiasts. This extraordinary event takes place in the canton of Bern. What makes the Bernese Long Distance March special is the participants' freedom to choose their own route between designated checkpoints. The march can be customized for individuals or groups. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate, a shooting badge, and a medal. Checkpoints are strategically located in inns where marchers can rest and refresh themselves.
