Sezione Samaritani Loco e dintorni

The "Loco e dintorni" (Local and Surrounding Samaritan Section) is part of the Association of Samaritan Sections of Ticino and Moesano (ASSTM). This group is a local chapter of the Samaritans dedicated to providing rescue and assistance to others. Its primary goal is to disseminate the knowledge needed to provide assistance in emergency situations. They offer members the opportunity to learn life-saving skills through first aid courses. These courses include training for first responders, which is also essential for obtaining a driver's license, specific courses such as BLS-AED-SRC, and courses for pediatric emergencies. Furthermore, members can actively participate in medical and healthcare services to ensure assistance during public events and demonstrations. The target audience is all motivated individuals interested in the world of rescue, regardless of age or background, who wish to volunteer and serve the community, acting according to the principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Volunteering, Unity, and Universality.
