Freie Wählergruppe FWG

The Free Voters' Group Grosshöchstetten (FWG) is a politically independent group founded in 1969. Its purpose is to safeguard the right of all politically neutral citizens to participate in municipal affairs. This is achieved through appropriate representation on the municipal council and its committees. The group offers a platform for politically interested residents who do not wish to join a political party to influence local politics. It actively engages in addressing issues relevant to village life. This includes supporting infrastructure projects such as the triple gymnasium and the mobility concept. The FWG advocates for moderate and environmentally responsible development. It supports young people and is mindful of the concerns of older generations. The group supports transparent financial policies with prioritized investments. Membership is open to any eligible voter who wishes to participate in local politics without party affiliation.
