Männerchor Gurzelen

The Gurzelen Men's Choir is an association dedicated to the preservation of choral music and sees itself as a piece of Swiss culture. The choir rehearses on Thursdays at 8:00 pm in the Gurzelen Schoolhouse. It offers its active members the opportunity to sing and perform together. In addition to rehearsals, the Gurzelen Men's Choir organizes its annual Hornerfestli (a traditional festival), for which new songs are learned and a theater group performs a play. Furthermore, the association organizes choir trips to explore new places and enjoy local specialties. As a member of the Gürbetal Choral Association, the choir participates in and also organizes choral festivals. Social events are also offered to members, such as barbecues and a raclette evening for active singers. Passive members and patrons are also warmly welcomed to support the association.
