Verschönerungsverein Hausen am Albis

The Hausen am Albis Beautification Society was founded in 1897 and is dedicated to making life in the community more pleasant through various activities. The society maintains 75 benches at scenic viewpoints and cares for several fire pits, which are free for all visitors to use. It helps shape local recreation areas and can also support cultural events. Regular activities include a spring and an autumn event, both of which offer opportunities for social gatherings. The society also organizes the popular candle-making event on the first weekend of Advent and a festive Christmas market at the community hall.
