SG Mâche

The La Gentiane Gymnastics Society is a sports club founded in 1959, based in Hérémence in the Val d'Hérens. Its goal is to offer its members physical education that promotes the harmonious development of body and mind. The club offers gymnastics in various forms for all ages. The range of classes is varied and structured into several groups. It includes activities for the youngest children with Children's Gymnastics, which develops coordination in a fun way. The Youth B and Youth A groups welcome school-aged children and teenagers who progress towards specializations in apparatus and athletics. Adults can join the Active, Active Recreation, Men's, Mixed 35+, or Mixed Volleyball groups. The Active group focuses on trampoline and participates in competitions. The Active Recreation group emphasizes fun and camaraderie with a variety of sports without a competitive spirit. The Men's group combines strength training with team sports such as volleyball. The Mixed 35+ group offers adapted and friendly exercises to help people stay in shape. Finally, the Mixed Volleyball group focuses on playing volleyball and participating in championships. All classes aim to improve personal performance while fostering community and friendship. The club is therefore open to children, teenagers, and adults.
