Schwingklub Wiggertal

The Wiggertal Wrestling Club is an association dedicated to the traditional sport of Swiss wrestling. Its catchment area extends across the Willisau district. The club offers its members training opportunities at various levels. There is a "Piccolo" training program for the youngest members, from five to six years old, where wrestling is introduced in a playful way. In addition, there are separate training sessions for junior and senior wrestlers. The club organizes its own wrestling festivals, such as the annual Menzberg wrestling festival and a youth wrestling event. The Wiggertal Wrestling Club regularly informs its members about club activities through its newsletter, "Kurz Lätz," and an anniversary publication. The club's target group includes everyone interested in Swiss wrestling, from very young beginners to active competitors.
