Musikverein Herrliberg

The Herrliberg Music Society is a multi-generational project where musicians from their mid-twenties to over sixty play together. We are a brass band in the third division, founded in 1894. Our musical repertoire is broad, ranging from traditional brass band music and classical pieces to modern popular music. We cultivate a positive atmosphere and a strong sense of camaraderie within our community. In addition to playing music, the society offers its members social events such as trips, ski weekends, and other get-togethers. We place great importance on our performances, such as the annual church concert, neighborhood concerts, and the Swiss National Day celebration, as they provide an opportunity to showcase our talent to the community. Participation in music festivals and competitions helps us to further enhance our musical quality. Musicians of all ages who enjoy playing brass band music are welcome to join us for a trial session.
