About us

The Holziken Parents' Association is an organization dedicated to the well-being of families. It fosters connections among parents, teenagers, and children. The association organizes various events and activities for these groups. It supports parents in their social responsibilities and with parenting issues through advice and mutual assistance. Furthermore, it represents the interests of its members externally and to the authorities. The association particularly promotes cooperation and mutual understanding between schools and parents. Its services are aimed at families with children from approximately zero to twelve years old. Among other things, the association offers a babysitting service. There are regular meetings, such as the "Chäferli-Träff" (Little Beetle Meeting), for toddlers and their parents. Members can participate in an annual family day. The association organizes courses, such as the MFM Project to support children through puberty. It also offers assertiveness training for children. In addition, seasonal events such as Advent windows and a flea market chat are organized.
