Skiclub Homberg

The Homberg Ski Club is an active club with approximately 150 members, founded in 1966. Originally focused on ski jumping and cross-country skiing, the emphasis today is on alpine skiing. The club offers a diverse program for its members. Regular winter activities include ski club weekends and tours. The touring group is particularly strong and actively participates in touring competitions. Ski tours are also organized between November and May, for which participants must bring their own equipment and experience. The winter program also includes specific events such as ski jumping and a Chäsboden downhill run. Outside of winter, the club offers activities such as biking on Wednesday evenings. Additionally, there are sports programs like gymnastics for everyone during the winter months. The club also organizes an annual Homberg Race, which is part of the Hot-Trail Series. The target group includes anyone who enjoys shared experiences in nature, sports, and camaraderie. There is a junior section, JO-Homberg, which offers its own training sessions and weekends. The club also fosters camaraderie through shared events such as the ski club weekend. Furthermore, the Homberg Ski Club offers its members a platform for buying and selling unwanted items.
