Le Ski-Club de la Lienne

The Lienne Ski Club, founded in 1954, is a cornerstone of social and community life in the villages of Icogne and Lens. The club is driven by the passion and commitment of its volunteer members, committee, and sixty instructors. It offers ski lessons in various disciplines tailored to each participant. There are courses for very young beginners called "Éveil" (Awakening), and courses for those who have mastered the snowplow turn, called "Plaisir" (Fun). For those who have mastered parallel turns and want more time on skis, there is the "PréComp" (Pre-Competing) course, while the "Fun and Discovery" group offers a more relaxed approach to skiing. The club also offers complementary activities such as snowboarding and cross-country skiing, often organized on Sundays. For older or experienced skiers, there are the "PréComp+" and "Freeski" groups, which offer dynamic and competitive practice on diverse terrain. The club also organizes social events throughout the season to strengthen the community. The main target audience appears to be children and young skiers, aged 4 and over, wishing to learn or improve their skills in snow sports, but activities also exist for more advanced members.
