Samariterverein Maienfeld

The Maienfeld Samaritan Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Samaritanism and fulfilling humanitarian tasks in accordance with the Red Cross principles. The association operates in Maienfeld, Fläsch, and Jenins. It offers its members and other interested individuals the opportunity to acquire valuable first aid skills through in-house courses, regular training sessions, and lectures. The association provides knowledge to enable people to react appropriately in emergency situations such as accidents or illnesses. In addition to in-house training, conducting public courses plays a significant role. These include basic first aid courses, Samaritan training, and specialized courses such as BLS/AED basic courses and courses on emergencies involving young children or during sports. Furthermore, the association provides first aid services at sporting events and other gatherings. The youth group, Help Falknis, also learns first aid techniques. The courses are aimed at interested laypersons as well as specific groups such as parents, athletes, and company employees.
