About us
The Arve & Lake Region Riders Association, or ACAL, is an association that advocates for riders in this region. It works to safeguard the general interests of its members regarding outdoor riding. ACAL represents riders to municipal, cantonal, and agricultural authorities. It has created and maintains a 90-kilometer network of bridleways, often on private land leased from farmers. The association promotes rider education on their rights and responsibilities, particularly respect for the environment and rules of good conduct. It also ensures compensation for damage caused to property by its members. ACAL is for riders in the Arve-Lac region who wish to enjoy trail riding and horseback riding in improved conditions. It also organizes events such as an annual rally. Wearing the association's emblem is a sign of solidarity and helps fund the maintenance of the network.
