Musikgesellschaft Kappelen-Werdt

The Kappelen-Werdt Music Society is an association founded in 1952. It consists of approximately 50 active wind players and performs in the second division of the regional band league. Members meet at least once a week for rehearsals to maintain a high standard of wind music. The association offers its members the opportunity to participate in regular concerts and music festivals. A special focus is placed on developing young talent. The Music Society provides financial support to children and teenagers learning a wind instrument. It facilitates instruction in cooperation with the Aarberg Music School. Young members can also participate in project-based performances with the Walperswil Youth Band. There is also the possibility of participating in regional music camps. The target group is motivated musicians of all ages who would like to play in a wind band. Parents whose children wish to learn an instrument are also specifically encouraged to join.
