Fischereiverein Mitteltoggenburg, Kirchberg

About us

The Mitteltoggenburg Fishing Club was founded in 1946. Its primary purpose is fishing in the tributaries of the Thur River. The club offers its members the opportunity to fish in a total of ten fishing waters with a combined length of approximately 130 kilometers. Activities include the annual general meeting before the start of the season, as well as the release of fish from rearing streams and the release of fish into the fishing waters on two Saturdays in April. Furthermore, in May, the release of young fish fry into rearing streams and tributaries within the fishing area is organized. The club maintains close contact with relevant agencies such as the Office for Nature, Hunting, and Fisheries. Those interested in membership should enjoy fishing and nature and possess a collegial attitude. A minimum age of 18 is required for membership, while young anglers are accepted from the age of 12.
