Eltern-Kind-Café

The Eltern-Kind-Café Küttigen is a non-profit project located in the village center. It operates bi-weekly on Wednesday mornings. The café offers a space for people to come to rest, make contacts, and find a listening ear. Parents and grandparents with children are the primary visitors, although spontaneous visitors looking for a break also attend. While children enjoy the play area, adults can relax in the comfortably furnished café. Besides regular café meetings, the club also hosts events like a "Themenlounge," which centers around a daily life topic, often framed by a short presentation and a Q&A session. The club aims for people to return to their daily lives feeling strengthened after these meetings. Furthermore, the community extends beyond the café hours, involving mutual support, sharing of life experiences, practical help, and advice among members. The association is guided by Christian-social values, emphasizing the worth of every individual.
