Uniun da catschadurs

The Uniun da catschadurs Greina is an association that unites hunters and hunting enthusiasts from the municipality of Sumvitg. It is a member of the Graubünden Cantonal Hunting License Association. The association distinguishes between members of categories A, B, and C. Category A members are hunters who are eligible to obtain a cantonal hunting license, as well as game wardens. They have the right to submit proposals, vote, and participate in events of the cantonal association. Category B members can be hunters from other sections and also benefit from events of the cantonal association. Category C members are all individuals without hunting rights who can, however, participate in meetings in an advisory capacity and engage in the association's activities. The association's main objective is to promote and maintain the Graubünden hunting license system according to ethical principles. The association is committed to healthy wildlife populations and their habitats and utilizes the hunting license system for the sustainable management of wildlife. An important purpose is to foster and strengthen solidarity and collegiality among licensed hunters and to protect their interests. The association also supports prospective hunters in their training and continuing education. It pursues regional public relations work in favor of hunting and organizes various events accordingly.
