Tambouren u. Pfeifer Sektion "Rhone"

The Rhone section in Lalden is a dedicated ancestral music association, founded in 1930. We are the Swiss Junior Champions in the drumming and fife categories. We cultivate the folk culture and traditions of our ancestors and interpret them in a contemporary way. The Rhone section consists of active drummers, fifers, flag bearers, and honorary ladies. We are currently training 25 talented young drummers and fifers. We are a large, close-knit family. We participate in various events and festivals, such as the Corpus Christi procession and the Upper Valais Drummer and Fife Festival. We also celebrate internal events, such as our annual family gathering before Christmas.
