Interessengemeinschaft Lauerzersee

The Lauerz Lake Interest Group (IGL) is an association dedicated to the preservation and protection of Lake Lauerz. Its goal is the responsible use of the lake and its surroundings as a residential, nature reserve, recreational, and leisure area, taking into account diverse needs. The association offers its members the opportunity to actively pursue these goals. It participates in projects and comments on construction projects and plans that affect the lake. The IGL focuses particularly on issues such as flood protection and lake siltation. Members are invited to join and actively contribute to the preservation of Lake Lauerz. The target group includes all like-minded individuals with an interest in Lake Lauerz and its surroundings. This includes individuals and legal entities, landowners, fishing associations, and anyone interested in the Lake Lauerz habitat.
