Fanfare de Porsel

The Porsel Brass Band is a second-category brass band from the canton of Fribourg. It offers its members the opportunity to play ensemble music. The club also runs a Music School for the training of young musicians. There is a junior organization called COPS, formed from the merger of the Cadets d'Oron with groups from Porsel and Saint-Martin. The aim of COPS is to bridge the gap between individual instrumental practice and ensemble playing. After their time at COPS, young musicians can join one of the parent organizations, including the Porsel Brass Band. The target audience for the music school includes children who love to sing, dance, or dream of playing a wind instrument.
