Musikgesellschaft Beatenberg

The Beatenberg Music Society is a small village band with approximately twenty active musicians. We are based high above Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland and were founded in 1888. Musically, we are a blend of brass band and concert band, and we play in the fourth division. Our repertoire is very diverse, encompassing marches, polkas, and more modern and larger arrangements. Besides our musical activities, we value camaraderie and a relaxed atmosphere. We offer lessons for children, teenagers, and adults to learn a new instrument. Instruments such as cornet, tenor horn, E-flat horn, and trombone are available free of charge for lessons. Anyone interested, including those returning to playing, is welcome to join us for a trial session.
