Associazione Amici del Teatro di Locarno

The Associazione Amici del Teatro di Locarno (Friends of the Locarno Theatre Association) was founded in 1990 by theatre enthusiasts. Its primary purpose is to promote artistic and cultural activities related to the theatre. Since 2002, the association has been responsible for organizing the theatre season, which mainly comprises high-quality theatrical performances. Members of the association receive free admission to all events supported by the association, including meetings between actors and the audience. The association is committed to preserving and appreciating the historic theatre building. It fosters intercultural exchange and aims to establish the theatre as an international meeting place. Membership is open to anyone who wants to support and participate in the vibrant theatre scene in Locarno.
