Verbandsfeuerwehr Oberer Reiat

The Oberer Reiat Fire Brigade Association is an organization dedicated to the safety of the population in the municipalities of Stetten, Lohn, and Büttenhardt. It was founded in 2006 through the merger of the fire brigades of these three municipalities to ensure a high-performing and modern fire service. Its responsibilities include responding to a wide variety of incidents, such as fires, traffic accidents, and natural disasters, within its service area. This area encompasses, among other things, farms, brickworks, and wooded areas. The fire brigade has modern equipment and infrastructure, including a mobile emergency generator for the cantonal emergency plan. The fire brigade offers its members up-to-date training and fosters camaraderie through shared activities. Interested individuals between the ages of 18 and 42 who live in the Oberer Reiat region and enjoy teamwork are welcome to join. In addition, there is the VOREIN association, which promotes extracurricular activities and cultivates camaraderie through social gatherings and excursions.
