Bürgergemeinde Lommis

The Lommis Civic Community is a public corporation that originated in the Early Middle Ages. It comprises all residents of the political municipality of Lommis who hold a share in the community's assets. The community values ​​and preserves its local character. The Civic Community owns the popular recreational area, the Lommis Civic Forest. Within the forest is the Civic Hall, which is available for social events. The Civic Hall offers approximately twenty seats and a barbecue area. Another amenity is the Lommis Forest Nature Trail, one of the largest of its kind in the canton of Thurgau. The trail is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. The Civic Community thrives on the participation of its citizens.
