Guggenmusik Bohneschränzer

The Guggenmusik Bohneschränzer Mältige is a lively carnival group from the Schwarzbubenland region of Solothurn. Founded in 1977, the group considers carnival the fifth and most wonderful season of the year. We offer our members the opportunity to cultivate carnival traditions together through regular rehearsals starting in September. Outside of carnival season, we strengthen our camaraderie through various club events such as the May Day stroll and the traditional pork chop get-together. No prior experience is necessary to join, as we learn together. A love of carnival and a desire for camaraderie are the most important requirements. We offer the opportunity to actively participate from the age of 16, and younger members from the age of 14 are also welcome with a mentorship.
