Musikgesellschaft Messen

The Messen Music Society is an association founded in 1951. Its motto is "D'Messe-Musig fägt!" (Messe Music is great!). The association places great importance on presenting sophisticated and entertaining repertoire at its performances. Its members provide musical entertainment at various events, including the traditional spring concert as well as Advent and New Year's concerts. Every two years, the association organizes an entertaining evening with theater and raclette. The Messen Music Society actively supports young musicians by maintaining contact with music students and assisting newcomers. It contributes financially to instrument rentals and camp costs for young people. Furthermore, the music society participates in music competitions. An important aspect of association life is fostering camaraderie through social events. The target audience includes friends of brass band music and the local community, who are reached through the concerts and performances.
