Groupe Genevois de Vol à Voile de Montricher (GGVVM)

About us

The Geneva Gliding Group of Montricher (GGVVM) is a Geneva gliding club based at Montricher airfield. The club has a long history dating back to the early 20th century. It practices gliding, a team and environmentally friendly sport that harnesses solar energy through thermals or wind. The GGVVM offers the opportunity to become a pilot through an introductory course followed by training. Members have access to a diverse fleet of gliders suitable for training, performance, and tandem flights. The club organizes flights during the season, from March to October, primarily on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Weekday flights are also available for qualified pilots. The club supports student training by reserving aircraft for them on a priority basis. It allows members to participate in competitions and obtain sporting licenses. The club provides live flight tracking tools such as LIVE-TRAK FLARM-OGN. The GGVVM is aimed at people interested in gliding, whether they are beginners wishing to learn or experienced pilots wishing to practice their sport.
