Ruderclub Murtensee

The Murtensee Rowing Club is an association that aims to make rowing accessible to everyone at a high level. The club primarily focuses on recreational rowing, offering its members the opportunity to experience the athletic, relaxing, and meditative aspects of the sport. Great emphasis is placed on camaraderie and fellowship. Members can participate in various activities, such as group outings on Lake Murten and rowing tours on other waters. The club also participates annually in recreational regattas, including the ICE-RACE, the Bilac, and the Rösti-Cup. The focus is always on participation and enjoyment. Beginner courses allow newcomers to learn the sport from the ground up. After starting in a C-gig boat, more experienced members can also use racing boats or single sculls. The Murtensee Rowing Club welcomes all age groups who enjoy rowing.
