Verein LaCabane

The LACabane Association is a non-profit organization based in Muntelier. Its purpose is to ensure a diverse and high-quality cultural revitalization of the LACabane. The LACabane itself is the last remaining vestige of EXPO.02 and serves as a cultural and social hub on the lakeside promenade of Lake Murten. The association organizes exhibitions and events in this unique location. In particular, it provides artists, museums, and local associations with the opportunity to showcase their work. Furthermore, the association promotes interest in culture and the Lake Murten region. The LACabane can also be easily rented for various events, such as receptions, exhibitions, presentations, tastings, or small celebrations. The association is financed through membership fees, revenue from the operation of the LACabane, and compensation from a service agreement with the municipality of Muntelier. Any individual or legal entity with an interest in the association's purpose can become an active member.
