About us
The Freiamt Singing Society is an association dedicated to the performance of classical music. The society regularly organizes concerts for the Day of Prayer and Repentance in the Muri Abbey Church. For these concerts, well-known works by composers such as Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy are rehearsed. The choir collaborates with professional orchestras for these performances, including the Baroque orchestra L'arpa festante from Munich. Interested individuals are welcome to join as new members and participate in rehearsals, which take place every Monday evening.
