Amici della natura - Lugano

The Friends of Nature Association – Lugano Section is a local group associated with the Swiss Federation of Friends of Nature. The Association's primary goal is to organize and offer its members excursions and trips dedicated to discovering landscapes and places in harmony with nature. Members receive information about activities via the website and an annual newsletter called "Il Ginestrino." Activities include trips of varying levels of difficulty, generally scheduled during the week or on weekends. The Association also organizes weekly activities, such as winter ski weeks and summer hiking weeks, as well as cultural outings. Another key service offered by the Section is the management of the Capanna La Ginestra mountain hut, located in the Roveredo mountains. The hut offers seasonal hospitality, with food and overnight accommodations, and is a starting point for simple hikes in the surrounding area. The Association is open to anyone who wishes to explore nature and participate in group outdoor activities.
