Turnverein Neunkirch

The Neunkirch Gymnastics Club is a mixed club with around 30 active gymnasts, founded in 1892. We promote multi-sport gymnastics for all ages and abilities. The club offers training, competition, and recreational opportunities. Sport, camaraderie, and social interaction are key aspects of our club life. In the spring, the focus is on the Schaffhausen Association Championships and inter-cantonal gymnastics festivals. We participate in track and field competitions, including disciplines such as throwing, high jump, and basketball skills tests. The winter months are characterized by sports, games, and fun, as well as preparations for the Neunkirch Gymnastics Clubs' evening entertainment. For the youngest members, there is parent-child gymnastics starting at age three, where children playfully gain their first experiences. Children's gymnastics is designed for kindergarten-aged children and promotes gymnastic skills through play and fun. The youth section is divided into a smaller and a larger group, which learn the basics of athletics, floor and apparatus gymnastics, and games, and participate in age-appropriate competitions. The girls' section also offers separate groups for younger and older girls, focusing on gymnastics, games, and participation in regional competitions.
