Musikgesellschaft Oberbalm

The Musikgesellschaft Oberbalm is a music association founded in 1901. The club currently has about 40 active musicians playing in a harmony formation. They practice once or twice a week to prepare for their various engagements. The society performs repertoire covering nearly every style alongside traditional brass music. Members participate in four main annual concerts, including a spring concert with theater and an autumn concert with a special theme. They also play at local community events and regularly attend music festivals. The club strongly supports training young musicians by offering instrumental courses. Furthermore, camaraderie is important, with social events like ski weekends and club trips enriching the program. The target audience includes instrumentalists such as clarinet, flute, saxophone, trumpet, cornet, horn players, and percussionists of all ages who wish to make music together.
