Samariterverein Oberwald

The Oberwald Samaritan Association is part of the Goms Region Samaritan Association. This association organizes and conducts various public first aid courses as well as specially tailored courses for companies, schools, and clubs. Monthly training sessions are held internally for members. Once a year, a medical or specialist lecture is offered for Samaritans and the general public. The association staffs Samaritan stations at events and supports the emergency services with the Goms First Responder Group. Furthermore, the association provides clothing donation bins and organizes a blood drive in Gluringen in the spring. The Samaritans are happy to help and are an important part of community and village life. Their services are aimed at the general public as well as companies, schools, and clubs that wish to further their first aid training. Interested members are welcome to attend a training session or participate as simulated casualties.
