About us
The SLRG Hallwilersee section is an association founded in 1965 dedicated to the prevention of drowning accidents. We offer regular training sessions for adults and young people. For adults, the training includes endurance, strength, technique, and lifesaving elements. Young people from the age of six learn the basics of rescue in age-appropriate groups through play. Ambitious young people train specifically for competitions. We offer various courses for individuals and closed groups to guide people on their path to becoming lifeguards. In addition, we are committed to raising awareness about water hazards. We support the lake rescue service from April to October with a rescue boat. We also provide safety concepts and monitoring services for water events. We have approximately 120 active and passive members. Our target group ranges from children as young as six to adults interested in lifesaving and water safety. We also foster a sense of community through events such as the New Year's swim and weekend retreats.
