About us
The Oberthal Military Rifle Club is an association founded in 1886. The club promotes the sport of shooting and has active members as well as a group of veterans. Furthermore, it fosters the next generation of marksmen through a section for junior shooters. The club is also involved in organizational matters, as demonstrated by the renovation of the former shooting range in Oberthal. Members can participate in shooting days and various competitions, including the Emmental Veterans Cup and the Konolfingen District Cup. The club also organizes social events such as a lottery and card game gathering for veterans. The club's target group encompasses all age groups, from young enthusiasts to experienced shooters.
