About us
The Ogoz Island Association was founded in 1996 to preserve and promote the medieval site of Ogoz Island. It has approximately 120 members. The association organizes visits to the island, including solar-powered cruises on Lake Gruyère that include a stop on the island to visit the chapel and towers. It also offers the site for private events such as weddings, corporate outings, or family celebrations, with on-site facilities available. The association also publishes materials on the island's history, available in its shop. It organizes annual general meetings for its members, which include visits or lectures and a meal. All of its income is invested in the maintenance and promotion of the site. The association welcomes anyone who wishes to support the preservation of this heritage and enjoy its unique setting.
