The Canoe Club Rapperswil-Jona has been paddling on the upper part of Lake Zurich since 1951. The club has about 380 active members in the areas of regatta, canoe polo, recreational sports and dragon boat. Canoeing has a variety of different disciplines on flat and white water. The different disciplines enliven the club and thus offer every water fan the opportunity to practice their paddle sport. The location of the KCRJ at the upper lake of Zurich is ideal to practice flat water disciplines. Therefore we mainly practice the following four disciplines: canoe regatta, canoe polo, dragon boat and recreational sports. While regatta and polo are practiced competitively, dragon boat and mass sports focus on the get-together and the experience.
