About us

APERE, the Parents' Association of Rolle and the Surrounding Area, is a local branch of the APE Vaud (Parents' Association of the Canton of Vaud). It works towards equitable education and is committed to fostering constructive and essential collaboration between parents and the school. The association represents parents' voices to educational and extracurricular institutions. It also aims to strengthen parenting skills through various forms of support. APERE provides opportunities to connect and meet other families in the Rolle region and its surroundings. It offers a space to listen to and relay families' concerns to the school. Members benefit from information on family and school news, as well as personalized advice. The association organizes events and offers preferential rates or free admission for some. It runs specific activities such as English classes and holiday camps, including the Holiday Passport program. APERE also supports families experiencing academic difficulties by sharing resources for academic support. It offers informative articles on parenting and schooling, for example on managing school-related stress or homework support. The target audience consists of parents of students attending school in Rolle and the surrounding municipalities.
