About us

The Green Liberal Party (GLP) of the Glâne-Veveyse section is a local political entity formed with the ambition of actively participating in the development of its municipality, particularly in overcoming political gridlock. This party aims to build pragmatic majorities with the various political camps to advance its region. Its main objectives include supporting ambitious projects for mobility, revitalizing waterways for biodiversity and the local population, and increasing public involvement in municipal projects. The Glâne-Veveyse GLP offers its members the opportunity to actively participate in general assemblies and party decisions. Members can get directly involved in campaigns, such as collecting signatures or distributing materials. Membership provides access to privileged information on current political debates within the party and at the national level. Members can also help shape the future of the GLP by joining committees or running for political office. The club positions itself as a dynamic and committed community for a sustainable and innovative Switzerland. Its target audience consists of anyone who shares green liberal values and wishes to engage politically, whether actively involved or simply wanting to support the party's objectives. It welcomes individuals, including those without Swiss passports, interested in open and pragmatic politics focused on the future of the Glâne-Veveyse region.
