Chœur Mixte de Rueyres - La Voix des Chênes

About us

The Rueyres Mixed Choir, named La Voix des Chênes (The Voice of the Oaks), is a mixed choral association founded in April 1961. This club offers its members the opportunity to practice choral singing in a relaxed yet dedicated atmosphere. Members participate in regular rehearsals, which take place on the first Tuesday of September through June. The choir's main activity is the production of an annual themed show, which alternates between a variety of songs and skits performed by the members. The group is also part of the Gros-de-Vaud Singers' Association and participates in gatherings called "girons." There are also projects with a children's choir. The club currently has 35 to 40 motivated members. Membership is open to anyone interested in choral singing and wishing to share this passion.
