Vogel- und Naturschutz Rütschelen-Bleienbach-Lotzwil

The Rütschelen/Bleienbach/Lotzwil Bird and Nature Conservation Association is an organization dedicated to protecting nature, and especially birds, in the three municipalities. It aims to inspire its members to care about nature and encourage them to actively participate in its conservation. The association produces, installs, and maintains approximately 550 nesting boxes. It is also committed to preserving the habitats of all animals found in the wild. Members can contribute their experience and knowledge. The association answers questions about bird and nature conservation and provides advice on planting and maintaining hedges. It offers its members the opportunity to participate in various events such as excursions and lectures. There is also a youth group for children and young people up to about 15 years old. Active members benefit from membership in the cantonal umbrella organization BirdLife Bern and BirdLife Switzerland, which includes discounts and insurance coverage. The target group is nature enthusiasts who want to get involved in protecting local wildlife.
