Jugendparlament Saas-Grund

The Saas-Grund Youth Parliament is a newly founded organization. This parliament is committed to making Saas-Grund more attractive and interesting for young people and young parents. The municipality of Saas-Grund supports initiatives for young people. Young people in Saas-Grund benefit from a wide range of leisure activities. These include a new soccer field, a tennis court, a beach volleyball court, and a climbing gym. Schools in the Saas Valley incorporate the topic of youth into their curriculum annually. Topics include life skills and life in mountain villages. There are also career guidance sessions with taster days at local businesses. The Saas Youth Center is supported by the municipality and offers its services. In addition, there is a supervised lunch program at the village restaurant where children can eat and do their homework. The target group is young people and young parents in Saas-Grund and the Saas Valley.
