Désalpe de Saint-Cergue, 38ème édition
About us
The Désalpe of Saint-Cergue is an event celebrating the age-old tradition of bringing herds down from the mountain pastures. It is the largest such desalpe in the Lake Leman region, with approximately 700 cattle decorated by the herdsmen. The event offers spectators the chance to admire the passing herds, with their cows adorned with bells and flowers. There is also a market featuring local artisans and tastings of regional products. Visitors can enjoy food and drink at the various stalls, refreshment stands, and folk entertainment such as alphorn concerts and flag-throwing. The event showcases Swiss traditions and also features a raffle with numerous prizes to be won.
