The Wasserfahrverein Schlieren is a club that has been active on and around the Limmat river in Schlieren since November 1973. The club operates the Mauritius ferry near Kloster Fahr together with the Seepfadi Zürich. This ferry operates seasonally from spring to autumn on all nice Sundays and public holidays in the afternoon. The ferry ride itself is free of charge. The club has its own clubhouse located by the Limmat river near the old railway bridge. The club welcomes interested people to visit them to learn more about their association life.
