CEVI Volketswil-Schwerzenbach

The CEVI Volketswil-Schwerzenbach is an association that has existed for over 50 years and is dedicated to youth work. The association offers children and teenagers exciting and meaningful leisure activities. Activities take place in four mixed groups, emphasizing adventures in nature, building friendships, and fostering a sense of community. The program is experience-oriented and often based on exciting stories in which the children are actively involved. A wide variety of activities are offered, including games, sports, pioneering skills, arts and crafts, theater, and cooking over a campfire. The programs promote holistic development, engaging the mind, heart, and hands, by challenging different abilities and supporting personal growth. Meetings are held regularly on Saturday afternoons, and for older teenagers, there are evening programs, overnight stays, and camps during Pentecost, summer, and autumn. The work of the CEVI is based on Christian principles but is open to everyone. Participants are divided into age-appropriate groups, from the "Frogs" to the oldest group, "Hakuna."
