Your snowpark in Central Switzerland

About us

The Mythenpark is located in a very varied terrain on the Brünnelistock at approx. 1400m above sea level, in a central and prime location. It is situated on a south-facing slope, between snow-covered fir trees and unspoilt countryside with views of a magnificent panorama. The park is accessible from all directions.

What began in 1998 with a small freestyle scene has developed into one of the most popular parks in Switzerland. Initially, small contests were organized for locals, but in 2002 the park began to be developed and improved. The Mythenpark team, which initially consisted of 9 members, has existed since mid-2005. In January 2006, the team merged to form a legally binding association, which currently has 13 full members and other passive members. Depending on the situation, 1 to 2 people from our association work for the mountain railroads, where they are responsible for park maintenance, among other things. All other members work on a voluntary basis and are always happy when enthusiastic visitors lend a hand. The “Mythenpark” association has set itself the goal of further developing a new freestyle resort in Central Switzerland.

The park terrain has an ideal mix of steep and flat, providing good conditions for varied lines. It is also clearly separated from the normal piste network. The park has around 20-25 obstacles of varying degrees of difficulty. A beginner's line is set up for those who want to get to grips with the whole thing first. If you can't take any more, you can chill out at the end of the park at the 1291 (snow) bar and enjoy a tea break. There is also a snack stand and a large self-service restaurant. A DJ provides good beats during all events.
