About us

The Seftigen Chamber Choir, founded in 1986 and directed by Patrick Secchiari since 2006, comprises approximately fifty dedicated singers from the Bern region. The choir is distinguished by its exceptionally refined and transparent sound. Its repertoire encompasses a broad spectrum of choral music, including well-known works such as Bach's Mass in B minor and Mendelssohn's St. Paul. The choir also explores new territory with works by composers like Charpentier and Rheinberger. It enjoys performing a cappella pieces as well as operatic works. The choir regularly collaborates with renowned soloists and orchestras. Interested singers are welcome to join at the beginning of a new project. The choir is aimed at individuals who enjoy singing together and performing high-quality musical pieces.
