The Capoeira dos Alpes association was founded in 2000 on the shores of Lake Géronde.

The aim of our association is to bring a bit of Afro-Brazilian culture to the heart of the Alps, and to introduce this art form to the people of Valais. Our mission is to promote capoeira as a fun, non-competitive part of Valais culture! The Afro-Brazilian-Valaisian blend of Capoeira Dos Alpes is an active part of the canton's associative landscape.

Our art allows you to exercise alertness, flexibility, agility, endurance and rhythm! It's a dynamic sport where good humour and respect for others are the watchwords.

Classes for children aged 4 and over, teenagers and adults take place throughout the school year.
